Ca’ Tron, 28 January 2020 – Responsa, a startup incubated in H-FARM since 2012, becomes part of Euris Group.

The acquisition represents the successful completion of a consolidated industrial collaboration that started several years ago between the two companies and an important investment round in 2016, which had already led Euris Group to hold 18.6% of Responsa.

In particular, the operation led to Euris Group acquiring the shareholding held by H-FARM (equal to 25.69% of the capital) and that held by the Atlante Seed Fund, managed by Indaco Ventures Sgr (equal to 10.27% of the capital) in addition to those of other minor investors. On the other hand, Responsa’s CEO, Gabriele Antoniazzi, remains within the corporate structure with 32.36%. The goal is twofold: for Euris Group to consolidate its offer thanks to the technology developed by Responsa, for the latter to have a strong industrial partner through which to continue its growth on the national and international market.

Responsa, a company founded by Gabriele Antoniazzi and matured on the H-FARM campus, develops A.I. solutions such as self-service Knowledge Base and ChatBot, which offer first-level automated assistance to customers and employees of the company. The goal is to offer a quality and innovative support experience in terms of multi-channelling within all digital touchpoints of a company, responding to the needs of large and small companies looking for an intuitive, high-level and cost-effective tool thanks to which to offer 24/7 support to its employees and customers. In recent years, entities such as Banca Mediolanum, Banca IFIS, ING Direct, CheBanca !, Hello bank !, Vodafone Italia, Europ Assistance and Cattolica Assicurazioni have decided to make use of Responsa services.

Through this operation, Responsa becomes part of Euris Experience, the business unit dedicated to the Customer & Shopping Experience.

“The acquisition of the majority shares – says Umberto Petri, Merger & Acquisition Manager of Euris Group – will guarantee Responsa direct access to our laboratories, thereby expanding the possibility of product growth both in terms of application and technology”.

“I am thrilled that Euris Group PLC has strengthened its position in Responsa, a clear sign that today more and more industrial partners have the courage and determination to set their growth by relying on the innovative strength of startups”, declares Vittorio Maraghini Garrone,

Portfolio Manager of H-FARM, “This operation bears witness of the good tend of our portfolio in 2019 and its level of maturity capable of attracting the attention of investors and industrial partners. New developments are envisaged in the coming months”.

“We invested in Responsa in 2011, through the Atlante SEED fund, our fund dedicated to projects in the initial phase of development”, states Alvise Bonivento, co-founder and partner of Indaco SGR. “The investment was one of the fruits of the partnership with H-Farm, from the beginning we believed in the innovative potential of the company, supporting its growth and accompanying it up to this exit operation which confirms the value of Responsa.”
